Snyder & Associates was founded in 1977 with the goal of establishing a consulting firm which would provide municipalities, schools, public agencies and private developers with comprehensive engineering and planning services. This goal includes services that facilitate "growth through planning" by effectively addressing a client's long term planning needs as well as providing day to day problem solving expertise.

Today's services have increased in scope to include complete project planning, design and construction capabilities functioning much like an on-staff engineer or planning professional. In this regard, the firm maintains clients which it assists from the project planning stage through construction, utilizing expertise in long term capital improvement planning and municipal finance combined with creative and economical design solutions. We currently provide services to over 55 communities in Iowa and 41 communities in Missouri.

As a result of strong, goal-oriented leadership and long-term retention of quality individuals throughout the organization, our company has grown into the largest civil engineering firm in central Iowa.
