Snyder & Associates provides design services for wastewater treatment and collection, including industrial pretreatment and treatment facilities. Designs range from single cell lagoon systems to complex plants, lift stations, flow equalizations basins, force mains and gravity mains. Services include designing new facilities and renovation of existing facilities along with coordination, preparation and administration of permits. The firm emphasizes energy efficient maintenance, as well as operational and environmental considerations. Studies may include population and industrial/commercial growth forecasts, user charge systems and funding programs.
Sewer Rehabilitation & Replacement Program
Sewer rehabilitation has become a necessity for many communities and it has proven cost effective to repair or replace old, failing sewer systems. Snyder & Associates uses field investigation of sewer lines to identify problems such as age related physical damage, inflow and infiltration, and cross connection to the sanitary sewers from storm sewers and basement drains. Improvements can include replacement, spot repairs, grouting and lining existing sewers.
Sewer Studies, Modeling, & Funding
Snyder & Associates offers comprehensive planning services for sewage collection systems including collection system modeling using the SewerCAD software package. Using the model, a collection system’s performance can be analyzed and predicted. The model can assist in master planning and in sizing new collection system components such as pumping stations, force mains, and gravity pipes.
Snyder & Associates helps clients determine their infrastructure needs and to also prioritize those needs in conjunction with the Capital Improvements Program. Our firm is highly experienced in locating and pursuing potential funding sources, including grants and State Revolving Funds, in additional to managing special assessment projects, our firm analyzes sewer rate for long-range financial planning for maintenance and improvement projects. Geographical Information Systems (GIS) developed by the firm provide tools for asset management.
