Water Supply, Treatment, Storage, & Distribution

Snyder & Associates provides a full range of design services for water supply and treatment facilities, booster pumping stations, water mains, water storage tanks and towers. Water supply experience includes planning and designing wells and surface water intakes, water treatment and chlorination systems for single wells and facilities using lime softening, filtration and disinfection. Our firms’ experience also includes creating large booster stations designed for increased pressure and flow and ground and elevated storage tanks. We also have experience in industrial water supply applications, such as process piping analysis and design. Start-up assistance, troubleshooting, operations, maintenance training and operations manuals are also provided.

Water Studies, Modeling, & Funding

Snyder & Associates offers comprehensive planning services for water systems including water system modeling using the WaterCad software package. Using the model, the performance of the distribution system can be analyzed and predicted under a variety of conditions. The model can assist in locating and sizing distribution facilities, such as storage tanks, pumping stations, transmission mains and regulating valves.
