Grant applications are due July 19, 2018, and applicants may submit up to three grant applications total.
Selection criteria is based on numerous factors including safety, economic competitiveness, state of good repair, environmental protection, quality of life, innovation, partnership, and additional non-federal revenue.
Bid Letting & Environmental Compliance
Project applications that clearly meet the BUILD program’s requirements of project readiness will make for a more competitive submittal. The schedule for construction of improvements will need to accommodate a bid letting no later than September 30, 2020. All preliminary design and environmental compliance must be completed within a timeline that accommodates the bid letting as well.
In the event your project isn’t ready for construction, and additional planning is needed, the BUILD program allows for applications related to planning activities.
