New Synthetic Turf Field.
Snyder & Associates worked with Benjamin Design Collaborative, P.C. and the Ames Community School District on campus athletic facility improvements that included:
- 1999 – Track Renovations
- 2008 – Football and Soccer Field Renovations
- 2010 – Tennis Court Renovations
Snyder & Associates provided design, construction documents, and construction assistance for the new synthetic turf football and soccer field. The design involved conversion of the existing natural turf field and drainage tile system. With the owner, numerous turf suppliers were interviewed and ranked as part of an open bid environment. The result was the construction of the first Sprinturf field in Iowa.
