Andy Meessmann, PLA
About
Andy has over 15 years of landscape architecture and planning experience in both the public and private sectors. His public planning and landscape architecture work includes streetscapes, parks, trails, and environmental restoration projects. He’s worked on notable projects along Lake Michigan, riverways, historic downtowns, libraries, and numerous city and county parks. Andy has also guided private sector clients through design, plan approvals, and final construction of master-planned communities, site design, rooftop patios, and pool decks. Beyond his professional experience, Andy is an avid cyclist and commutes nearly 3,000 miles a year via bike. His daily commuting and bicycle tours across the Midwest help inform him about the built and natural environment and how to integrate a connected system for cyclists and all trail users.
