Eric Miller, PLS

About
Eric is the Ankeny Survey Business Unit Leader and is licensed as a Land Surveyor in multiple states with 25 years of survey experience.  Eric has held most positions within the Ankeny survey business unit, providing him with a broad perspective on each project.  He manages survey projects with larger clients, including Iowa State University and the Iowa DOT, and performs and manages challenging engineering surveys and land/boundary/R.O.W. surveys.  He also has diverse experience with managing survey projects with an emphasis on subsurface utility engineering surveys, boundary surveys, subdivision platting, topography surveys, F.E.M.A/flood-related regulatory surveys, construction layout, UAS photogrammetry, LiDAR acquisitions, and right-of-way acquisition platting.  Projects involving a wide variety of resources and technologies are a focus for him. He is also active with the land survey community, serving on an advisory panel for DMACC’s Civil Engineering Technology program and ASCE’s Land Survey Conference Planning Committee.
