Julie Kruse is a Planner with close to 20 years of public sector planning experience specializing in zoning and land use regulations, neighborhood planning, redevelopment plans, and public outreach. Julie attended Iowa State University, where she majored in Geology. After completing her degree, Julie pursued a Master’s Degree in Community and Regional.

Ms. Kruse has worked for cities of varying size and character where she was responsible for overseeing and review many commercial and residential developments, drafting ordinances and policies, and guiding long term planning efforts. Julie has a strong history of building successful relationships with community groups, elected officials, and other stakeholders in the development arena with a passion for community engagement.
